The Mellow Vase is a living product that responds to light in an extraordinary way. A collaboration between Korean product brand Hattern (a portmanteau of Happy and Pattern), and art director Jae Yang’s Seoul and Milan based studio UMZIKIM, the collection is a minimalist interpretation of 19th-century Impressionism and its formal techniques. Each chromatic piece is made by dyeing the inside of an acrylic block using primary and secondary colors.
