The textures and color palettes of British landscape artist Fred Ingrams inspired Wallace Sewell’s AW24 scarf collection.
Inspired by Ingrams' work, the Bothy scarf design features a sequence of vertical stripes woven with a solid weft color. An asymmetrical border adorned with intricate patterns and textures complements the main design, paying homage to the intricate textural marks that are a focal point in Ingrams' landscapes.
Meadow: A refined look with an overall dark mossy green, complemented by intricate details in canary yellow, soft pink, slate, and lichen green, creating a palette that brings to mind blooming gardens and imparts a feeling of calmness and organic charm.
Sapphire: A bold Persian blue as the main colour, juxtaposed with a pale warp that prominently showcases the pinstripe patterning. Enhanced by vibrant fire orange, soft yellow, rust, and deep berry accents in the asymmetric borders.
