The textures and color palettes of British landscape artist Fred Ingrams inspired Wallace Sewell’s AW24 scarf collection.
The Maela design draws directly from the perspectives within Ingrams' landscapes. The elongated triangle structures on the scarves nod to his distinctive visual elements, while substantial solid blocks of colour and textured patterns pay homage to the patchwork fields that serve as a focal point in Ingrams' body of work.
Barnabee: An eclectic blend of pink, berry, and amber tones in contrast with cooler blue and green hues. This mix creates a dynamic interplay of colours for a visually engaging composition.
Ash: A cool toned colour palette of ashy blues and greys, complimented by an occasional copper stripe. Reminiscent of a good pair of jeans!
Soot: The pale combination neutrals and pale blue really pop against the dark warp, showing off the woven structures and patterns, complimented by a fiery orange.
