Founded in Italy in 1921 by Giovanni Alessi Anghini, the family-owned, Italian metalwork manufacturer Alessi evolved to become "The Dream Factory." A laboratory of industrial research into applied arts, collaborating with notable designers and architects, making the ordinary extraordinary. 

Since its establishment, to today, Alessi objects are primarily created via the cold processing of metals by highly skilled craftsmen at the factory in Crusinallo, Omegna. Over time, Alessi has included new materials in its catalogue, always applying strict standards to each, with constant mediation between the technological complexity of industrial production and attention to details typical of craftsmanship.
