The Pattern Porcelain Cup by Scholten & Baijings features a modern grid textile-inspired graphic, with a matte exterior and a glossy interior.
Amsterdam-based Scholten & Baijings was co-founded in 2000 by the husband-and-wife team of Stefan Scholten and Carole Baijings. Their furniture and product design is characterized by the utilization of minimal forms, clean lines, simple geometric patterns, and sophisticated colors. Pattern Porcelain Dinnerware (2017) exemplifies their work, featuring a graphic reinterpretation of Grid, a groundbreaking textile Scholten & Baijings created in collaboration with Maharam. Marked by colored gridlines and alternating matte and glossy finishes, Pattern now embellishes the tabletop with the flourish of that original textile. Dishwasher safe. Made in Japan.
