Working in the heady milieu of 1930s New York, Mergentime ‘s work features strikingly new printed fabrics, making her mark with tablecloths created to enliven American households with color, humor and entertainment. Mergentime’s Folk Art series is comprised of steel pen drawings that highlight her vibrant, innovative patterns and fascination with American culture.
