This sumptuous cotton double-weave scarf combines circles (dots) and stripes with stiff kibiso threads woven in-between to create a crinkled texture. Kibiso comes from the tough outermost layers of the silk cocoon--fibers that have traditionally been impossible to weave. Nuno Studio has been instrumental in developing new ways to use this by-product of the silk industry.
