The Aleta glass collection is inspired by sea, sand and ocean creatures. The aquatic-inspired jar features a delicate glass fin, Aleta is the Spanish word for fin. The glass is recycled, which gives the pieces their textured and imperfectly beautiful look. All the Aleta glasses are handblown in Mexico, and no two are exactly the same.

Emma Gavaldon van Leeuwen Boomkamp (1989) is designer from Amsterdam currently living and working in Mexico City.
