Postalco worked with traditional Japanese stone craftsmen to create a new series of multicolored Mineral Key Holders. These natural stones are combined with cut solid brass hardware. Even within the same type of stone, there are natural variations in colors and patterns. Each stone is then cut and finished by hand giving every piece a unique shape. This key holder screws closed and is handmade in Japan.
Founded in Brooklyn, New York by Mike and Yuri Abelson, Postalco is now based in Tokyo. Inspired by communication on paper, they began 20 years ago by creating document holders and notebooks, but since then have turned their attention to many other items, including wallets, clothing, furniture, pens, and bags.
