Adolf Loos' (Austrian 1870-1933) uncompromising concept of form was ahead of his time. With straight sides and a thick base, the Lobmeyr "Loos" series embodies his characteristic hand-engraved diamond cut at the base of each piece. Each line is cut by hand and carefully matte-polished. This series paved the way for modern glass design, a Lobmeyr classic since 1931.
