This button features the SX-70 Camera from Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. Introduced in 1972 by Edwin H. Land, co-founder of the Polaroid Corporation, the SX-70 was the first camera to achieve one-step photography. Sleek and compactable, it achieved a cult following upon its release, used by photographers including Ansel Adams, Walker Evans, and Andy Warhol.

Our buttons are made by Busy Beaver Button Co., who have been making eco-friendly buttons since 1995. The company also founded the world’s only pin-back button museum, as a way to preserve the history of the button. You can explore the collection in their book Button Power: 125 Years of Saying it With Buttons.
