Designed in 2005 by Alessandro Mendini and Annalisa Margarini for Alessi, the Parrot Sommelier Corkscrew is a practical pocket-sized tool that packs quite a visual punch. The Parrot is made of polished aluminum and plastic with levers in 18/10 stainless steel. The Teflon-coated worm has five coils, comes with a knife to cut through foil, and works in two steps to ease the opening of any bottle.
