Considered the most influential architect of the late 20th Century, Aldo Rossi designed the 90023 Creamer in 1989 for Alessi as a partner for his first mass-produced design, the La Conica espresso coffee maker. Made of 18/10 stainless steel with 6-ounce capacity, Rossi believed that the expression of art in design was more important than a product's function. The clean, geometric forms in Aldo Rossi's compositions, a constant presence in many of his architectural designs, transformed into real objects to be touched and used, becoming icons of the 1980s household landscape.
