Most designers start a piece in an effort to solve a problem, Aldo Bakker rarely does. Hence his forms, as illustrated by this Vinegar Flask, originate from his fascination of shapes. Shapes that could be almost anything, only near the end does Bakker consider what the function might be; this of course leads to functional objects that are pure, incredible forms, free from desires to ‘solve’ and allowed to just be. Forms that you will enjoy and be inspired by daily.
