Over the years, Maison Martin Margiela has developed an unmistakable style through its seasonal clothing and accessory collections. Beyond the conception and realization of the brand’s collections, this unique identity has permeated the spaces MMM occupies, including signature elements like the use of whites, cotton fabrics, trompe l’oeil, diversion, a mix of styles and époques, and hints of humor.

In the midst of developing this signature style for its professional spaces, the Maison embarked on a small collection of objects and publications entitled “Line 13,” which began in 1999. On the occasion of a recent exhibition during the Salone Del Mobile in Milan, Maison Martin Margiela presented the “White Objects” collection of Line 13 within its installation “Mat, Satiné, Brillant.”

Maison Martin Margiela Artisanal Line was featured in the 2010 National Design Triennial: Why Design Now?
