How do I return an item?

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase you may return it for store credit for the full price of purchase (less shipping cost) or a replacement within 45 days of receipt. If 45 days have passed, unfortunately we can no longer accept any returns. *All sale items, are final sale and may not be returned.

Do I get a discount if I am museum member?

Yes! The standard membership levels offer a 10% discount.*

How soon can I use my member discount?

Right away! When you add a membership to your cart, your member discount will automatically be applied to the rest of the items in your cart.

Can I purchase a gift certificate online?

Yes, you can purchase a gift certificate here.

What if this is a gift?

Please include any gift instructions in the comments. We are happy to gift wrap any reasonably sized items and can include a note card with a gift message.

When will my order ship?

All orders are shipped with Fedex and orders over $100 require a signature upon delivery. Fedex usually operates 9am—6pm Monday through Friday. You should specify an accommodating daytime delivery address when ordering, we recommend your work address. Fedex will not deliver to a P.O. Box address.

Please note that 2Day delivery indicates the delivery time once the shipment has been picked up by Fedex. Shipments may not always be picked up on the same day that the order is placed. Ground shipments will take approximately 7-10 days from the date of purchase. Kindly keep this in mind when you select your shipping preference. Thank you.

Please note that the museum and shop offices are closed on federal holidays and weekends. Orders received during these times will be shipped within 2 days of the next business day.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order anytime time until it has shipped. Please email or call us at 212.849.8355 to cancel your order.

How can I submit my designs to the buyer?

Always include contact and ordering information. If we find that your product is appropriate for the SHOP we will contact you. Unfortunately, due to the volume of designers and product out there, it is impossible to respond to every submission. Please do not attempt to follow up with a phone call or email.

Please understand that under no circumstances can we accept unsolicited samples. Any unsolicited samples will be discarded, unopened. In addition, any printed material or samples that are submitted will not be returned to you. We sincerely appreciate all submissions and carefully examine everything that we receive. We will certainly contact you if we find that there is a place for your product in the SHOP.

Do you accept international orders?

We have partnered with GlobalShopex for international fulfillment. They will process your international payment and ship your order via a traceable method to your front door and accept International Credit Cards, PayPal, Bank Wire Transfers, MoneyGram, and other forms of payment.
